Saw the peregrine falcon perched on the high top corner of the hospital building as I walked to a meeting today. Looking for lunch, I suspect. Once when going to a meeting I found a pigeon’s leg, altogether disembodied, lying on the steps below the peregrine’s high perch. It was a Gorey moment.
