Scottish Games and Harvest Moon

Yesterday when I tired of working we went to the Scottish Games in the park. The Games consisted mostly of throwing very heavy objects as far as possible: logs for distance, big iron kettlebells for height. No wonder those Scots are all big and bulky. Here are the bagpipes. I was surprised when their combined sound brought tears to my eyes- I’m not very fond of their sound, but maybe the ancient tradition touched the Scots in my own bones.Afterwards, a walk around the park where I saw the sun going down over the river (instead of my usual sunup time). And finally, on the way home, the Harvest Moon!
