New Year’s day. We woke to 6 below zero and frost on the windows.
Yesterday took a drive to see the eagles on the ice in the river, but they have moved to the south where there is more open water with less ice. Fast, this cold, it was only a few days ago Dennis saw dozens of eagles.
But we did see hundreds of snow geese sheltering by a bank away from the wind up at Riverlands. Here they look like white specs against the bank.
