Forest Park Eagle

He was in a cottonwood tree by the Grand Basin in front of the art museum. In the big view you can see him as a black spec in the tree to the left of the museum:

And here he is in all his white headed glory:

We also saw male red winged blackbirds, back already to prepare nests for the females who’ll be coming soon, and sporting their bright red epaulets.
