It was cold today and lots of birds came to the feeder. My favorite was the Fox sparrow. There were also white-throated sparrows, field sparrows, yellow-throated sparrows, juncos, wrens, house finches, cardinals, doves.
Why is it I can spend hours walking through an antique mall (which I did this afternoon in search of presents and just for the fun of it), but I cannot walk through a department store or mall without feeling drained? I have always been a terrible shopper.
