As I walked back to the office from a meeting with a colleague I saw, at the busy intersection of Forest Parkway and Euclid, some protesters yelling into bullhorns. One of them was dressed as a cat. They were protesting the use of cats to train med students in intubation techniques. They had lots of support from passersby on foot and in cars. And from me.
“One-two-three-four, open up the cat lab door! Five-six-seven-eight, liberate don’t intubate!”
“Hey, ______, we’re here to say, STOP using CATS in your lab TODAY!”
