On today’s walk I saw monarda, aka bee balm, a black man preaching as he rode his bicycle, a woman giving her old and crippled chihuahua a bicycle ride in a handlebar basket (she said he loves to ride since he can’t otherwise move much these days), turtles sunning, mulberries ripening, mom goose sitting on the nest where she’s been for the past couple of weeks, a big bullfrog waiting for a bug to fly past, yellow and purple irises.
