Today is the 1-year anniversary of this blog, and in the spirit of tracking change over time I stopped this morning to take a picture of the scene from the 2nd blog entry.
There I saw a red-tailed hawk in the top of a dead sycamore. While walking at noon, I saw a peregrine falcon resting in the top of a dead tree. Once, while walking to a seminar, I saw the remains of his lunch- a disembodied pigeon leg- on the steps of the hospital. Here today he was looking more sleepy than hungry.
and I saw and heard goldfinches and red-winged blackbirds passing through to eat seeds during their migration. The red wings were by the stream, where they drank as well.
Happy Anniversary! I love seeing the world through your eyes. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! From what I’ve seen and heard via cyberspace your world looks interesting and beautiful too.
