What a great morning! The Cardinals won the 6th game of the World Series at the bottom of the 11th inning last night- I, who don’t usually get too excited about sports, was jumping up and down and hootin’ and hollerin’ with the rest of the neighborhood. This morning is crisp and bright and I saw a pair of red-tailed hawks sitting in the top of the cottonwood tree near the park entrance, facing west away from the sun. The colors are still in the trees. I have yet another brown recluse spider bite on my butt, this must be the 6th in about 3 years, I guess I have a pretty good immunity by now. I could be dangerous if I start growing extra legs and eyes!
