I wanted to remember these wonderful rich colors. They’ll be gone soon, since it’s supposed to cool and rain tomorrow.
This is the cottonwood where I often see an egret during the summer, sitting on that low down-curving limb on the right.
What a lovely place to ramble!
Indeed it is. I’m lucky it’s so close to where I work, so I can walk there when I need a break to get out of my own crazy head. The smells, sights, sounds always bring me back to what really matters.
