Riding mantra

Thrasher-  hawk-  pine-  roar-  purple lady, purple lady

Today’s mantra while riding to work- the game is, you notice things, and when you notice them you have to remember them, and so I remember them by setting them to a cadence and repeating them now and then.
Thrasher- saw a young brown thrasher chasing a bug across the road

Hawk- saw a red-tailed hawk fly across the path in front of me, chasing someone, perhaps a mouse on the ground.

Pine- I rode through a pine grove I’d never before noticed and it was cool and had that nice pine-y smell.

Roar- the roar of cars and trucks on the freeway

Purple lady- a woman in a purple top was jogging on the path just before I got to work.
